Chilling Truth

This week we are talking about an Australian man named Ned Kelly who is known for making his own suit of armor and having a shoot out with the police. Leading up to his final shoot out he did commit quite a few crimes, some of which we will be covering on this. I also attempt to do an Australian accent for our few listeners down under. Enjoy!

Then things look up after when some Native Americans help The Forlorn Hope and then help is sent back to Donner Camp to help the survivors. But they were not prepared for what they were going to see at the cabins.

We are going back to school this week, telling you about the harrowing journey of The Donner Party and their emigration across America from Independence, Missouri to Fort Sutter California. This story is going to involve desperation, starvation, survival, murder, and cannibalism. It may end up being more than 2 parts, but we'll see how it goes. We are taking you guys south of the border today and talking about a Mexican folklore called La Llarona or "The Weeping Woman". It is said that La Llarona murdered her children in a jealous rage by drowning them in a river, and now she roams the earth looking for them and sometimes killing other people's children in the process. This week we are covering a not-so well known serial killer. Sean Vincent Gillis was active in and around Baton Rouge Louisiana in the 90s and early 2000s. Killing women, dismembering some, and even dabbling a bit in CANNIBALISM! With a semi normal childhood, Gillis would still go on to murder 8 women, including an 82-year-old woman in a nursing home. Today we are talking about the Einsatzgruppen, a paramilitary Nazi death squad responsible for 2 of the worst massacres during WW2. One claiming over 33,000 lives. The Einsatzgruppen followed in the wake of the German Army serving as more of a clean up crew for them. Answering directly to Heinrich Himler the Eisatzgruppen were ruthless, merciless, and extremely relentless in their mission to exterminate anyone who was not in line with their policies.
