Considered the most prolific serial killer in postwar Germany, Niels Högel is believed to have killed between 100-300 people in the five years he worked in hospitals in Oldenburg and Delmenhorst. The cold-blooded killing of Honorah Parker Rieper is commonly known as the most infamous murder in New Zealand's history.
