The boys don their speedos and dive into two merfolk tales. First up is Disney/Pixar's LUCA, followed by a trip back to 1984 to see if Ron Howard's SPLASH still holds up. The guys also tell their own "fish out of water" tales and Pete has mold in his house. 

Ian bows out to find his nerve as the remaining FoM team members take in a horror double feature of A QUIET PLACE PART 2 and 1982's POLTERGEIST. Families must be protected, special effects creatures must be combated, and t-bone steaks must be maggoted. It's Film or Movie!

It's a jilted lover showdown as the guys check out Sundance darling THE KILLING OF TWO LOVERS, then go back to Terrence Malick's second feature, DAYS OF HEAVEN, to see where it stands on the olde-timey Hold-Up-O-Meter. Can the boys make it through the whole episode without getting lost in Richard Gere's hair?

The boys let the power of Tina Turner wash over them as they review HBO Max's new doc, TINA. They then follow her to Bartertown to see if MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME still holds up. There's also a SPEED ROUND: 1985 edition, some light chatter about if anyone can ever enjoy Mel Gibson again, and an appreciation of Ian finally speaking into the correct side of his microphone. Who runs Bartertown? Film or Movie! 

The guys rip out spines and stomp on necks as they review the new MORTAL KOMBAT, then backflip to the Bruce Lee classic ENTER THE DRAGON to see if it still kicks ass. There's a martial arts Speed Round, a look back at 1995's MORTAL KOMBAT, and an unnerving discussion about what everyone's fatalities would be. Round 1... FIGHT!   

This week it's a celebration of National Treasure Frances McDormand, fresh off her Oscar win, as the guys review NOMADLAND and pair it with Ms. McDormand's (and the Coen Brothers') screen debut, BLOOD SIMPLE. Plus an all-McDormand Speed Round, more drops than you can shake a stick at, and the retirement of our Cure for COVID segment (despite COVID still being a very real threat please get vaccinated k thanks bye).

The OG crew is reunited to tackle two tales of immigrant families! First up is Lee Isaac Chung's Academy Award nominated MINARI, followed up by Barry Levinson's oft-forgotten AVALON from 1990. Plus we're serving up BOTH an Artist's Loft and a Nerd Alert. Who's a lucky podcaster subscriber? YOU!

It's a biopic double-header as the panel checks out JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH, then dip back to 2007's THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD to see if it still holds up now that we're not 20-something's. Special Returning Guest Anjali Prasertong again adds some gravity to the conversation, plus an all Brad Pitt Speed Round! 

To celebrate Women's History Month we unceremoniously kick off two unwitting hosts and bring in Tony and Rob's wives, Beth and Anjali, to drop some much-needed female perspective on PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN and 1973's LADY SNOWBLOOD. Let the fan mail demanding their permanent place on the panel commence. The FOM Future is Female. 

It's a double dose of the afterlife as the guys check out Pixar's newest, SOUL, followed by 1990's Greatest Hair Competition aka FLATLINERS. Tony and Pete go mano a baldo over Pixar's potential repetitiveness and there's some real sharing going on as well. The kind of sharing only Joel Schumacher can elicit....
