Ep 36: From Crackin' Backs to #CaptainHomeFinder: Ryan Fischer's Story of Struggle and Success

1h 1m · Published 04 Jul 05:00

Ryan Fischer's journey from high school valedictorian to leader of his own very successful real estate team was anything but smooth.

There were many bumps along the way.

Carrying heavy student loan debt out of school, this new chiropractor found out the hard way that establishing himself was going to demand patience.

As he describes in today's podcast, the load of student debt along with a mortgage payment was too much for a starting chiropractor.

But with hard work he slowing built a practice, and business that extended outside of the Cities.

Through this journey, though, he discovered real estate. He explains the pressures of carrying two careers at once, and why he made the transition to full time real estate agent.

He has since married the woman of his dreams, started a family, and built one of the most successful real estate teams in Minnesota.

Today, the story of Ryan Fishsticks -- um, sorry -- we mean, Fischer.

1h 16m · Published 27 Jun 05:00

Joe Mottlow and Will Huffman have shared a lot of life together since their first meeting at TruGreen.

But on June 15th, 5 years ago, Joe got his first indication that something was wrong.

Then the diagnosis. Leukemia ALL, a blood cancer.

The battle begins and Joe Joe Tough was born.

The chemo shed 30 pounds over a two week period.

Magical Quotes:

The logical mind wants to know exactly the logic behind everything and why this is happening and why I would take action on this. But you really don't. It really doesn't matter.

Sometimes about WOO WOO stuff it's just like when in the hell am I going to do that? Like what am I doing to do with my crystals? Am I supposed to take those out in the middle of a conference room and put them on the table? Yes, the answer is yes!

Just following intuition is the path of ease vs. me just trying to be controlling and figure out everything, problem-solve everything, and force everything.

If you think this is WOO WOO, you're at the exact moment where you need to stop and open your mind up to what it is that you're learning because you're experiencing resistance. This is the key to unlocking whatever is next for you.
