The Tangent 'Verses Movie Podcast

Our second episode in our Halloween series is none other than the famous Hocus Pocus and the 1990 film The Witches! Released just in time for the remake to release so you can hear our takes (the good, bad, and ugly) of both films.

We're back to versing movies one-on-one in this episode. Also, we're switching things up a little bit! We're trying out a different format to try and shorten the length of our episodes without losing any of the comedic content we hope you all know and love! The Chris and I talk about 2 movies that we both really enjoyed. Upgrade and Ex Machina, two movies that have two takes on artificial intelligence. Slight deep dives into each movie without spoiling too much, but things are spoiled, so beware if you have not watched and do not want them spoiled, with podcast promos from a couple of my favorite podcasts: Reverie True Crime and I Understood That Reference, check them both out!!

It is a known fact that drinks are had during our preshow, this is why it is called "pregame." In this episode you can really tell that drinks are had. While we attempt (and i do mean attempt) to talk about artificial intelligence and how far we really think it could go in our reality, Amber laughs, The Chris brings up Jumanji, and I (Kelvin) attempt to hold everybody together. We do manage a few insightful moments talking about Isaac Asimov and his Three Laws of Robotics and also if a "Terminator" scenario is possible. I hope you enjoy this more than I did while editing.
