It's the Season Finale, nerds!

For the culminating episode of their debut season, Sarah and Casie take it all the way back to 19th century China with The Opium Wars. Tune in to find out how the British's overbearing need to control foreign trade led them to create an opium epidemic throughout China. First Casie takes us through the First Opium War and its immediate and underlying causes. Then, Sarah brings it home with the Second Opium War (because one war wasn't enough!)

Listen in as Casie takes us through her childhood and blossoming career as an actress, including her most controversial and ground breaking role in the film Ecstasy. Later, she discusses Hedy's incredible inventive mind and her conception of "early WiFi." Then, Sarah covers her equally extensive list of spouses, family drama, and cinematic achievements. Casie explains how people of ages past have identified, prevented, and exterminated these blood-sucking demons and maybe raves about how gorgeous Damon Salvatore is... so much so that she calls him Damian. (Psh, amateur). Sarah, ever the pragmatist, gives helpful details and clarification on where these traditions may have stemmed from and even dabbles a bit into some horrific real-life vampires.
