Affirmations :

 I surrender what I can not control. 

When I let go , I make space to receive.

 If it doesn't serve me, I set it free. 

  • when we attach ourselves, when we get accustomed to someone or something , it can be really hard to let go and move on.
  • Whether it be letting go of attachments - letting go of ideologies - letting go of past traumas … there are serious benefits to the act.

This Body, This Temple

Affirmations:

 I am grateful for everything my body allows me to do.

 I love my body as it is today. 

My worth isn’t determined by my appearance. 

This body is my temple. 

  • Depending on who you ask, body positivity can mean different things
  • Feelings, thoughts, and behaviors related to body image can have a major impact on our mental health and how we treat ourselves.
  • Your worth and value do not lie in your shape or your size or in any other aspect of your appearance

Tips on how to work towards loving and accepting your temple: 

  • self-care should focus on doing things that make you feel good about the body you have now.
  • Spend some time looking at yourself in the mirror and pour yourself with compliments. 
  • Add movement to your life!
  • Purge your social media feeds of accounts that don’t make you feel good about yourself.

Self to Self: Forgiveness

Affirmations:

 I set my past free and forgive my participation in it. 

I grow more patient and understanding of others by forgiving myself.

I will treat myself with respect and kindness from today forward.

 I am capable of moving beyond my mistakes.

 

- To forgive means:

To stop feeling angry or resentful towards (someone) for an offence, flaw, or mistake.

-When we don't forgive we allow resentment to exist within us. When we dont forgive ourselves we allow our mistakes to define us. 

-When we talk about forgiveness...we tend to think about forgiving others before we think about ourselves.

-Our improvement comes from recognising the areas of our lives where we might have faltered and firstly saying sorry self.

Yes to Rest

Affirmations:

 Rest is productive.

My creativity is fueled by rest.

Downtime is valuable time.

 I give myself permission to slow down.

 

  • Rest is considered indulgent, and most people feel guilty when taking a minute for themselves.
  • Making time to rest is allowing your body to recharge and decompress.
  • Lack of rest can manifest in our physical bodies.

 

Challenge:

DO NOTHING FOR 30 minutes to an hour everyday this week. Rest. Take a break from your phone.. Take a break from Netflix and really just rest your mind and body. Take a nap -- or just lay there! I challenge you to do less...take a breather… you deserve it.

 I am loveable.

Affirmations: I am grateful for this moment.

I am at the right place at the right time. 

I honor the pace of my journey. I deserve to slow down. 

 

Challenge:

I challenge you to reflect on what you're grateful for in this moment. 

Write out your personal definition of time?

How can you honor you pace + process?

I also challenge you to take 15 mins of  still moments this week. For ten mins relax, take a few breaths, don’t allow for any distractions. Do absolutely nothing! Embrace the present moment.

Affirmations: Today I will not stress over things I cannot control.

My mind is a powerful tool. 

I have the power to change my life by changing my thoughts.
