by Becca DavisElementary music can be a lonely job. Music specialists are typically the only ones in the building that teach music. Without someone to talk to, it is difficult to come up with lesson ideas, deal with classroom management, and just know what to do. My name is Becca, and I am an elementary music teacher. I am here to help other elementary music teachers feel confident and excited to teach their students. Between lesson plans, teaching inspiration, and practical tips to improve your elementary music classroom, you will feel ready to take on the classroom!I can't wait to chat!

14m · PublishedThis year just keeps surprising me. As we go back to school, students are having to stay six feet away from each other to ensure that everyone is safe and healthy. This makes teaching elementary music extremely difficult, as general music teachers are trying to find activities they can do while students stay safe and far apart. This video has a ideas for singing games that can be done without touching-- so you can still have a fun, engaged music class!
