Episode 4 - Resilience, Rejections & Remarkable Transformations with Suanne Braun

1h 6m · Published 10 Mar 06:00

Wow, wow, wow. I can’t wait for you all to hear this incredible episode. I’m joined with the epic all round human being, actress, Suanne Braun. She's originally from South Africa and has starred in the likes of The Princess Switch as Mrs Donatelli in the Netflix franchise, Stargate SG-1, Summer of Rockets, she’s also a fellow musical theatre actress  who played Tanya in Mamma Mia and sooo much more.

We unpick resilience, rejections we’ve faced in our acting careers, stopping those negative thoughts from your inner chimp and personal development. Suanne delves deep into the significance of affirmations and by putting them into practice has completely transformed her life.
One of the in-depth topics we discuss covers the traumatic experience of Alison Botha and how such a tragic experience became such a remarkable transformation. We discuss how Suanne portrayed Alison in a play adaption of her journey and how it creatively challenged and inspired her.

This episode is jam packed and it's a long one so strap yourselves in!

Don’t forget if you enjoyed this episode to please leave a 5* review. ALSO, I would LOVE for you to screenshot this episode, head over to Instagram and tag @believeyoucanpodcast, @clairefish_mama and @suannebraun.

Just know that you have everything within you if you just BELIEVE that YOU CAN. ENJOY!

Episode 3 - Unpacking Mental Health with Emma Belle

1h 0m · Published 24 Feb 06:00

Claire and Emma unpack mental health and how it has affected them both, how in sharing we remove any shame, in eradicating shame we shake the belief that we are unworthy, not enough or fundamentally a bad person. You can have hard emotions to deal with it, it doesn’t mean you are a bad person. Sharing doesn’t have to be on a public public platform, but with a friend, family member or a therapist.

Emma is a personal friend who inspires me so much in how she has dealt with past trauma, her Bipolar and how she continues to show courage through her authentic vulnerability with life but in particular sharing from the heart of her fertility journey.
