It's Season 2!  But really my students found my podcast so now here we are...trying this again! Let me know what you want to hear!

Today Katie takes a dive into the controversial topic of gun control, and gun violence.  She explains her perspective and her experience with lockdowns and drills on a school campus.  This is a sensitive topic listen with caution

***Edit: In the podcast Katie cites a Supreme Court Case as Heller v. District of Columbia.  However when the case was argued before the supreme court it was titled District of Columbia v. Heller***

This week Katie briefly discusses what to do when a colleague says something inappropriate. The meat and potatoes of the episode is about a teaching strategy she calls the spectrum. The spectrum has four benefits! First, it is easy to implement, second, it gets students moving and up out of their seats, third, it requires critical thinking, and lastly it gets students talking!
