MY NURSING SCHOOL WAS COMPLICIT IN RACIALLY PROFILING ME

49m · Club Clinical · 01 Jun 17:24

By now you have heard the pain from the Black community. It's been a collective effort to share our voices. But it has taken a lot for us to be here. For many years we have suffered in silence. Afraid to speak. Afraid to talk "ghetto". Afraid to be "aggressive". Afraid to wear our natural hair. Afraid to challenge racism. Well, now we are doing it. One of the ways I am doing this... is by speaking about the racism I faced at the hands of an educational institution and one of my peers. Listen and share. Please leave a review as well. Let me know what you think. And if you have it in you, donate to this platform. Next week, we will dive further into what happened.

Thank you for giving me space in your hearts. I love you all.

No more hiding: how and why I have integrated plant medicine

They called us "healthcare heroes" to keep us working. But 2 years later, and billions of dollars made (by CEOs), where has that left us? In this episode I explore how/why I feel nurses and healthcare professionals should try plant medicine as a path to figuring out what they really want.

I made $2400 a week, and got fired. But the tea is these jobs don't care about us.

EDIT: Take home pay is $2400 per week.

Please don't forget that job security is a facade. Am I sad that I won't be working at the job that I really liked? Yes? But will I allow myself to be played? Never.

Do I add the certifications or not? Answer in the polls :)

My ex wife, nurse bullies, and standing on business.

I am finally free to share about my past lives, and it feels good to know that no job, person, place, or thing has the power to shape my future. I hope you enjoy hearing about the good, bad, and ugly.

I also give you some real world advice for dealing with unit bullies.

Much love.

The "Soft Life" is cute, but it's not real.

I actually enjoy the *aesthetic* of a soft life. But that is all that it is. There are actions and movements required for your life to *feel* soft. Unfortunately in our community we are being marketed a bunch of BS that has not been adding up. I give you 10 or 11 tangible things to do if you feel like y

Those Drugs Saved My Life. No, Not those ones.

This is like a two part episode. In the beginning I tell you about that time a nurse anesthesia school tried to end my career before it started. In the second part, I walk you through how it happened.

Moral of the story, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger and now I get to help other nurses realize that with the help of psychedelics.
