Our common experiences during the pandemic coming into this new year can be found by grounding own energy and connecting with others - another journey back to love…

This episode was recorded on May 17th, 2021. Join myself, Kathie Smigels (Zupac’s resident therapist), Jordan Zuppke (the other half of Zupac Law & Life), and Tess Garoon- the owner of Aesthetic Hair Salon in Ferndale, Michigan- for a talk about Trichotillomania.
Trich is the ‘hair pulling disorder’ that involves recurrent, irresistible urges to pull out hair. A common thread between the guests and myself... we all deal with trich to some degree. Many people struggle with body focused repetitive behaviors (more commonly known as BFRBs), including dermatillomania (the skin picking disorder).
We share our personal stories, our struggles, and the tools we use to manage ‘the monster’ that lives within us. Our hope is to shed some light on the topic, break down the stigma, and help the ones who struggle to not feel so alone... Let’s come back to love.

Episode 15: Plant Medicine
This episode was recorded on April 29, 2021. Aaron Eschenburg and Soojin Kim join me for a deeper dive into the topic of plant medicine.
*Disclaimer* We are not doctors or medical professionals. We are not giving medical advice or encouraging anyone one way or another. We’re just sharing our experiences and personal knowledge on the topic.
Traditionally a taboo topic, we explore the knowledge and wisdom we’ve each gained from different medicinal plants on our own journeys. We pay homage to these powerful medicines, and acknowledge the importance of ceremony not only during the experience, but also in preparation for it. In order to gain the full benefit and integrate the learnings they provide us, deep respect and surrender are required. As always, returning back to love...
