I recently read the book "Good Morning, Monster" written by Catherine Gildiner, a clinical psychologist that shares 5 stories of emotional recovery of her clients. Amongst the lessons I learnt is why is it important to acknowledge that violence is part of human existence, why intuition is a pretty good solution in dealing with perpetrators, 7 tactics that perpetrators use to groom you and gain your confidence and specific strategies to protect yourself and loved ones when dealing with strangers.
