Laurie Anne Sakla - Special edition- Relationship Violence - how to escape - how to spot it coming

27m · Published 09 Sep 13:00

Laurie Anne Sakla sadly has intimate knowledge of relationship violence. Since escaping from it has become her vocation and her mission to inform, empower, and rescue women entering or desperate to leave that destructive path.

This is a special edition podcast on Relationship Violence. Usually, I am talking to fascinating women about themselves, today's podcast came out of that conversation with Laurie Anne. It is so important I felt we should have a conversation just about that. Here it is.

Some of my photography clients come in working through the aftermath of the relationship. Putting themselves back together. They have gone through a crafted process that places them in the middle of the horror that for a big part aims at destroying their self-confidence, their self-esteem, their sense of beauty; it all winds up damaging their sense of self-worth.

In this conversation, you will learn the signs at the start, the red flags. Laurie Anne will talk about steps women can take (and the few men) to escape. She will list the agencies along with financial support to start again. To renew; to move on.

This is a vital conversation. If you see yourself or a friend from these insights, there is a path out.

Laurie Anne Sakla - jello wrestler - domestic violence defender - model - mom

46m · Published 02 Sep 13:00

Laurie Anne is a woman with a fascinating past. Raised by a single mom with a unique perspective, was a wide-eyed innocent in the '80s, taken under the wing by members of big-name rock bands like big brothers. Traveled the world wrestling in jello, mud, and oil. Modeled impressively and still does; it is her balance in life.

Then an experience in relationship control changed her world and her path. She now has lines in the sand that she does not allow crossing. She has a passion and empathy for women in desperate situations.

Yet, she remains warm, bubbly, and engaging, Her eyes still sparkle.

There are some amazing insights in her conversation with Mark.

45m · Published 19 Aug 12:00

Krista Kosta; The lessons she guides her Life Coached women came at a cost of her childhood. Some coaches draw on struggles, some need a magnifying glass to make them appear worthy of the title.
Not so Krista, she arrives at her sharing, her authenticity, and her insights from an unimaginable place, abduction by a parent. While this is the core and base of her story and path that she shares, it is hardly the most interesting part.

Having lived it, recognized her personal foes, fought them to where she rises to a woman who strives to transparent, authentic by example. Her bubbling approach keeps our conversation lively, honestly insightful. She shares insights, warning signs, personal high points and a lot of how she got here.

This is one interesting listen, hope you will join us.

47m · Published 12 Aug 12:00

Liza talks about how to tell your story and the power of doing that. She talks about her perfect day and explains her biggest dream, her personal disasters along with the lessons from them.

She talks about fixing your self first and the power of the subconscious mind.

She found an amazing partner and a Danish parent. it is a rich conversation you will enjoy.

Bio:  Liza Lomax is a Body Image Coach. She helps women who have yo-yo'd with their weight. Who have tried every diet fad and are still not happy with their reflection in the mirror.
