On today's episode we connect with none other than Chip Baker!  Chip Baker is a teacher/coach that has been in the education profession for 20 yrs. He is a graduate of Hearne High School (Hearne, Tx) and he attended college at West Texas A&M University. At West Texas A&M he played football and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Sports and Exercise Science/Special Education. He has a Masters degree from Sam Houston State University in Educational Leadership. Throughout his career he has received teacher of the year twice on his campus, published several articles, been 2 time author (Growing Through Your Go Through and Effective Conversation To Ignite Relationships) and has  been a Head Football Coach/ Athletic Director. He has a youtube channel/podcast "Chip Baker- The Success Chronicles" where he interviews people of all walks of life to discuss their paths to success. He has been blessed to cross paths with some amazing people that he has learned from. He is currently a teacher/coach in Conroe ISD in Conroe, Tx. His motto is Live. Learn. Serve. Inspire. Go Get It!

On today's episode Jorge Vergara shares his insights with us on the power of failure in building his career. Jorge is a business owner, founder, and innovator. Jorge sought to gain corporate experience and entrepreneurial challenges as a way to ignite innovation. The last 10 years have been a roller coaster for Jorge. After migrating to the US in 2008, Jorge joined forces with his brother and built a business with operations in US, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela. In 2013 the business could not sustain the financial setbacks of the South American financial crisis, which resulted in a loss of over $500,000.00 in income and assets. 

After dealing with a fare share of depression and self-doubt, Jorge joined Corporate America, seeking to learn and apply business ideas while in a controlled environment, obtaining first-class training, furthering his education and personal growth. From wholesale clothing, medical equipment distribution, to joining a fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry leader five fears ago; Jorge has experienced great personal and professional success on both sides of the Business.
