In 2020, grounded by the pandemic, The Performance Theatre gathered virtually. With the theme Re/Assemble, we examined the kind of leadership required to come together stronger, driving societies and economies that support everyone.

This podcast summarises and captures key ideas from our 2020 virtual series.

How do we achieve “higher resolutions”, even among parties whose grievances and mistrust are rooted in histories of violence and the abuse of power? Using archival material from a panel discussion with Colleen Echohawk of Chief Seattle Club and Elmer Dixon of Executive Diversity Services at The Performance Theatre 2019, and from new conversations with script-writer/ movie producer Lindsay Doran and former Chief of Seattle Police Norm Stamper, this podcast continues exploring the theme of reconciliation and resolution from last year.

We reached out to Yves Daccord, former director-general of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and Killian Noe, founder of the Recovery Café, to seek their advice on leading organisations and serving vulnerable populations through long emergencies.
