Three experts in the field of sustainable finance joined YGT Talk on Feb 5 and had a conversation on Climate Fintech and The Future of ESG Investing.

A new report published by New Energy Nexus entitled Climate Fintech: Mapping an Emerging Ecosystem of Climate Capital Catalysts addresses the rise of a new dimension of ESG and sustainability finance—the application of digital financial technology. In this YGT Talk, the report’s author Aaron McCreary, will highlight the main findings of this study, showcase viable business models of Climate Fintech. Vincent Bakker, a renewable energy expert with over 10 years of experience and Cindy Hu, Portfolio Director of Impact & Responsible Investment at Prudential Financial, will join McCreary for a roundtable discussion on the driving forces behind ESG investing, the role of fintech in sustainability finance, and the impact of policy on opportunities for climate entrepreneurs.
