and a mix of Spanish History as well. Sean Alphonse covers a lot about Spanish Linguistics and the history behind the words, and is an amazing wealth of knowledge with around 20 years of knowledge under his belt. His goal is to become a translator, and boy howdy with how much he knows he's a shoe-in for that. Or he can become a narrator, because his voice and teaching cadence is amazing! Hope you all loved this man's brain as much as I have. Enjoy!

Chaos theory with Nic Brant

38m · Published 12 Feb 23:09

...and a touch of DnD. Nic Brant was a delight to have on to share what he knows about Chaos Math, and how it ties into Chaos theory in general, the environment, how to create random generators, and a little bit of DnD. Seriously fun episode and it left me with an appreciation for math and statistics, I look forward to the day I can actually understand it even a little.

Long Haul Covid with Amy Giffin

55m · Published 11 Oct 00:41
I know this is a tricky subject for some, it really feels worth sharing. Some people who have gotten Covid-19 never really recover from some of the more debilitating side-effects, if they recover at all. Amy got the virus in March of 2020 and was dealing with the lingering side effects just until recently. This has been dubbed Long-Haul Covid and (x amount) of others deal with their own effects of Long-Haul Covid-19. I'm thankful to Amy for sharing her story and I hope this helps some of you know you are not alone if you still suffer from Covid-19.   Socials Amy Giffin: (hiking photos) https://www.instagram.com/co.hiker.girl/?fbclid=IwAR2sndTH547AYDpaEdMmDA56oKoMIEl7x7780bG2xiw6EhDpz8uu2oThp0w (insect info) https://www.instagram.com/co.bug.girl/?fbclid=IwAR05DYhzMOAGdS3vk8FGAjcnXwuKdjgjbspHbW_JRSxvEgmFBm_Wdu93eGM Regina the ram: https://www.instagram.com/Regina.the.ram/?fbclid=IwAR3UmLRsYcDiDFKnfWDEpEoaLRypRwhe1O7KNEvar3qA9Vn3nrjD6xIFltA Sip and Share: https://www.instagram.com/sipandsharepod/ Resources:  vagus nerve: https://www.britannica.com/science/vagus-nerve Long (haul) Covid: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/long-term-effects/index.html Low Histamine diet: https://theceliacmd.com/the-low-histamine-diet-what-is-it-and-does-it-work/ How many covid cases become long haul covid: https://health.ucdavis.edu/health-news/newsroom/studies-show-long-haul-covid-19-afflicts-1-in-4-covid-19-patients-regardless-of-severity/2021/03 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
