Amy and Jack are joined via Zoom by Jill Gafner Livingston, who is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Trainer through the International/ National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners and has trained 1000s of formal and family caregivers around the world. They discuss the challenges of caregiving during the quarantine on top of all of the stresses that already come with it.

Judy discusses her long caregiving journey as well as her work with supporting hundreds of other caregivers. She has a wealth of knowledge for caregivers and the unique things that come up along the way.

Lisa shares about her caregiving journey transitioning her mother into her house and explores the power of journaling. She also opens up about initially not wanting to take on the role but also shares about how much of a gift it has been and how her relationship with her mother has transformed as a result of her caring for her.

Shirley shares about her amazing story of caring for her stroke survivor husband, William, for over 17 years. She shares about some of the many successes that she had, the importance of support group communities and about some of the struggles of a long care giving journey.

Millennial caregiver Becky Carlisle shares about her journey caring for her grandmother. She discusses some of the challenges of learning about the medical nature of her grandmother's health issues, balancing a family while caring for her and finding time to recharge.

Hosts Jack and Amy interview caregiver Colleen about her long history with caregiving. They discuss her years working in adult day programs, caring for her sister and most recently caring for her mother while she battles dementia and Alzheimer's disease. They get into the challenges of relocating loved ones, wrestling with feelings of guilt, and changing dynamics of mother-daughter into a caregiving role.
