2019 marks 50 years of Ethnic Studies as a living entity in both higher education and K-12 schooling sites. The life of Ethnic Studies continues to breathe into existence through the arduous labor of young people, their families, and their communities across the country who have dared to wage love and leadership to structurally integrate culturally relevant curriculum into students’ daily educational experience. In this episode we will hear from youth organizers members of Student Engagement Advancement Board (SEAB), working towards Ethnic Studies in classrooms across Saint Paul Public Schools district.
