How to stay motivated - My top tips for staying consistent with your training

One of the questions I am always asked is how do I stay so motivated and consistent 

I pride myself on my consistency and dedication to my training, I know the continual growth and improvement of my performance comes from that commitment. I can probably count on one hand the number of training sessions I have missed in the last 2-3 years of training. But it has not happened by accident or luck and surprisingly it also hasn't happened by being motivated all the time. 

No one is motivated 24/7 that is not possible but what I have learnt is the relationship between motivation, discipline, consistency and habits. I have learnt how to hack the system and now I want to share that with you! 

So that is what today's episode is all about, the tips and tricks I have used to stay consistent and committed to my training and how motivation plays a role in that.

The ten year body image journey

Today I want to share something a little more personal... This is the story of my journey with food, nutrition, training, exercise and body image. 

It hasn’t been an easy road and I definitely was not easy on myself - pretty brutal in fact! But I have learnt so much in the process, I have evolved, I have grown and I am so grateful for the the experience as it has got me to the amazing place I am in today.

The Big Shift. 2020 the year we never expected and why it's happening

2020 ... What. A. Year! and we are only half way through

This year is one for the history books, natural disasters, worldwide pandemic, riots, political instabilities, it is a far cry from the 2020 we all expected to see unfolding as we sat on New Years Eve planning our resolutions

A spur of the moment podcast on my drive to work today, sharing my thoughts on the energies, the shifts and the purpose behind why 2020 is shaping up the way that it is

I belive it is the turning point the world needed, the energy has shifted, what has served and driven us in the past is no longer needed, relevant or tolerated in this new energy.

We need to clear the old, get rid of the shit that no longer serves. All of the ugliness of humanity needs to come to the surface so that we can clear it and make way for the new. For the lighter, more compassionate, more open, more loving, more creative energy that the world needs.

This is an uncomfortable and uncertain time for many but it is the world shifting, be open and watch the energy change and intensify in colour.
