Sibling Rivalry Part 2

14m · Published 29 Apr 17:02
In this episode I answer one of my listener's questions about the fights between her 7 year old daughter and 3 year old son. One day I asked her to make a note of all the fights they had that day and email me the list.  In this podcast I read her description of the 4 fights between the 2 kids and tell you how I have been able to resolve similar fights between my two girls who have the same age difference. If you would like to know more about how to help your children be better siblings to each other, I highly recommend reading the book "Siblings Without Rivalry: How to Help Your Children Live Together So You Can Live Too". If you have any questions or suggestions for a future podcast, please write to me @ [email protected] or www.instagram.com/soniakaye Also, don't forget to leave a review if you've found any of my podcasts helpful. It is the biggest compliment and motivator to make more. . Thank you in advance!

Answering Your Questions About Sibling Problems: Part 1

13m · Published 25 Apr 09:09

In this episode I answer some of your sibling-related questions. When my daughters started to have arguments which soon turned to fights, I tried everything. Everything I knew. Most of the time it worked but there were times that I had no idea what to do. That's when I started looking for books to help me. I was lucky to discover THE book that saved my marbles; one of the best child-rearing books I've read to date, "Siblings Without Rivalry: How to Help Your Children Live Together So You Can Live Too". I highly recommend this book along with another one by the same authors "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk". I love these two books because they are full of concrete examples. They are very easy to read or listen to on audible and they will answer so many of your questions.
