Welcome to the MM Health Podcast. Today we discuss three articles in the Pharmaceutical Journal from the past two weeks. 

The first one is a "white paper" from Reckitt Benckiser, presented under the title, “Presenting the GI evidence of ibuprofen.” The second relates to the planned use of an unlicensed flu vaccine, FluBlok, within the UK from December 2020. The last section discusses developments in commercial testing for Covid-19 antibodies within the UK retail pharmacy market.

We are taking part in the current NHS anti-obesity campaign that aims to help everyone attain the best possible state of health in order to have a higher chance of fighting Covid-19 successfully. The video gives a brief highlight of the risks of being overweight or obese in relation to Covid-19.

On the 28th of June we published a profile of Colleen Dixon, a clinical pharmacist and author of a new book aimed at children, parents and teachers, “Coco Loves Her Hair.”

In this conversation we dig a bit deeper to find out what motivates Colleen both as a pharmacist and author. She also opens up about her projects and what’s in store for the future. She then offers useful advice for budding and younger pharmacists as well as anyone with a desire to embark on a creative project.
