Is Skillshare Free? What You Need To Know About Free Trial?

12m · Published 20 Mar 19:00

Once upon a time, Skillshare was the Santa Claus of online learning platforms, gifting access to thousands of free classes to anyone eager to learn. Fast forward to today, and it's more like a wise sage, offering a glimpse into its wisdom through a 1-month free trial. This evolution marks a significant shift in how Skillshare operates, focusing on quality education over free-for-all access.

During this golden trial period, learners unlock a treasure chest of courses ranging from animation to UI/UX design. It's a no-cost pass to explore and engage with content that could spark a new passion or elevate a current skill. And while the allure of free learning has diminished with the disappearance of entirely free classes, the trial period serves as a perfect litmus test for the platform's value.

Skillshare's structured environment, led by experts like Seth Godin, offers a depth of learning that YouTube can't match. Beyond videos, there's an interactive community waiting to engage, challenge, and grow with you. It's these elements that solidify the trial's worth, providing a rich soil for skills to flourish.

Yet, the journey doesn't end when the trial does. Skillshare nudges learners towards a choice: to subscribe or not. With plans that flex with your learning pace and reminders to avoid unintended charges, it respects the learner's autonomy.

But what if the trial ends and you're not ready to commit? Fear not, for the landscape of online learning is vast. Platforms like Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, and edX extend their own free learning opportunities, each with a unique approach to education. From Udemy's wide-ranging free courses to LinkedIn Learning's professional development focus, there's a world beyond Skillshare waiting to be explored.

Moreover, the quest for knowledge doesn't have to drain your wallet. Skillshare's student discounts and scholarships offer a lifeline to those seeking to learn without financial strain. And let's not forget the potential to apply your newfound skills in ways that could earn back your investment, turning education into an avenue for income.

In the grand scheme, the transition from free classes to a trial-based model might seem like a loss. Yet, it's a testament to Skillshare's commitment to delivering value-packed, high-quality education. Whether through Skillshare or its alternatives, the door to learning remains wide open, inviting us to step through and discover what lies beyond.

So, is Skillshare's free trial worth it? Absolutely. It's a gateway to not just classes, but a community, a wealth of knowledge, and perhaps, a new direction in your journey of lifelong learning. As you navigate this path, remember, the value of education isn't in the price, but in the doors it opens.

Epidemic Sound Vs Artlist: Which Stock Music Site To Choose?

7m · Published 05 Apr 16:00

Welcome to another episode of the IMHO Reviews, everybody. I'm your host, Vitaliy. Today, we're going to dive deep into the world of royalty-free music platforms.

Let's kick things off with the million-dollar question - or, more accurately, the $15 question: how much do these bad boys cost? Epidemic Sound offers a personal plan for $15 per month or $108 per year, and a commercial plan for $49 per month or $228 per year. Artlist, on the other hand, has a starter personal monthly subscription for $14.99, or a yearly subscription for $120. For commercial accounts, they only offer yearly plans, ranging from $199 to $299 per year.

Alright, let's cut to the chase: Epidemic Sound wins the personal plan battle, but Artlist takes the trophy for commercial plans. If you're into monthly commitments, you might wanna swipe right on Epidemic Sound. But if you're looking for a long-term relationship, Artlist could be your soulmate. You know, it's kind of like dating - you gotta find the one that fits your style and budget.

Now, let's talk about the library. It's like the never-ending debate between Marvel and DC - who's got the better lineup? Epidemic Sound boasts an impressive 35,000 tracks and 90,000 sound effects, while Artlist comes in with a smaller, but still respectable, collection of 18,000 tracks and 11,000 sound effects. In terms of quality, they're pretty much on par, but if size matters to you, Epidemic Sound definitely has the bigger... library.

Alright, let's move on to licensing and usage. I know it might not be as exciting as a Marvel movie, but trust me, it's important. Both platforms offer royalty-free tracks for content creators, covering everything from YouTube videos to podcasts and commercial projects. The main difference is that Epidemic Sound also offers single-track licenses, which is perfect if you just need that one perfect song for your video - like finding the "Stairway to Heaven" of royalty-free music.

Alright, let's get real for a second. No platform is perfect, and both Epidemic Sound and Artlist have their fair share of customer complaints. Artlist has a rating of 4.2, with users griping about untrustworthy practices and issues with billing. On the other hand, Epidemic Sound has a rating of 4.5, and users have expressed concerns about difficulty in canceling subscriptions and occasional technical glitches.

Despite these shortcomings, both platforms still maintain relatively high ratings. It's important to remember that no platform is without its flaws, and it's essential to weigh the pros and cons of each service based on your needs and preferences. Remember to read reviews and do your research to get a better understanding of what you can expect from each platform.

So, a while back, I decided to start my own YouTube channel, and man, I tell you, finding the right music was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. But then I stumbled upon Epidemic Sound and Artlist, and it was like discovering a whole new world.

On the other hand, Artlist's interface was like a breath of fresh air – modern, sleek, and user-friendly. But their smaller library and the "reasonable use" limitation on downloads were kind of a bummer. And let's not forget the absence of a proper free trial – I mean, come on, Artlist, give us a taste of the good stuff!

Now, you might be wondering, " Vitaliy, which one did you ultimately choose?" Well, after weighing the pros and cons, I decided to go with Epidemic Sound. Why, you ask? The larger library, the single-track license option, and that sweet, sweet 30-day free trial won me over.

Skillshare Or Masterclass, Which Is Right for You? Review

15m · Published 18 Jan 14:00

When all discounts are applied, Skillshare is less expensive and offers monthly payments with a much larger selection of classes. Masterclass broadens your vision and inspires you - it's like Netflix but more engaging for you and your loved ones. Both platforms are excellent and provide customer satisfaction guarantees such as 30-day refund period for Masterclass and a free trial period for Skillshare. Skillshare has a wider range of topics, categories, and instructors. MasterClass has 180+ classes in comparison to Skillshare's 35,000+ classes.

Skillshare allows you to learn very specific skills in a short period of time, usually within an hour - ideal for getting inspired.

What is the difference between a  MasterClass and a Skillshare Library?
The majority of Skillshare classes are project-based, which is great because it allows you to practice the skill. While some courses may not be as in-depth as Masterclass courses, I believe there is a significant advantage here. Every class includes a preview to give you a better idea of what the course is about and who the instructor is. skillshare Learning Path vs Masterclass Sessions. Skillshare and Masterclass allow you to watch classes offline. For an additional $5 ($20 or $240 per year), up to two devices can use the online platform concurrently, or for an extra $76 up to six people can view classes at once.

Skillshare is the cheapest way to get access to a wide range of courses, with a monthly fee of only $10. Masterclass charges $32 per month or $168 per year in the United States. Skillshare offers a 14-day free trial but requires credit card information upon signup. Skillshare vs. Masterclass: Skillshare is the place to go if you want to learn for free. Both Skillshare and Masterclass have received high ratings on the App Store and PlayStore.

A language barrier may be a deciding factor in Skillshare vs Masterclass, as Masterclass only offers classes in English with English subtitles. People have some complaints about MasterClass's app, but it is very user-friendly and comfortable to use.  skillshare's app is available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Comcast, and Android TV. Masterclass's app requires you to search through a larger library of courses. Overall, both apps provide excellent experiences that make learning enjoyable and convenient. Despite its complexity, the Skillshare app does an excellent job of allowing users to do all of this with relative ease.

Which is better, Skillshare or Masterclass?
Don't get me wrong: both platforms are fantastic, each with its own unique approach to education. To choose one, I would have to put myself in the shoes of someone else. Skillshare is the best option for me if I'm on a tight budget and want to learn a specific skill to improve my job, become a freelancer, or start a new business. Another reason I prefer Skillshare is that the sheer number of classes available on every possible topic makes it ideal for lifelong learners.

I would recommend Masterclass to an experienced professional who is stuck in their career and lacks motivation and vision for the future. It's well worth the $180 price tag; the quality and content are so good that my wife and I watch it instead of regular television, Netflix, or YouTube on occasion. We've discovered that it's a great way to keep ourselves entertained while also providing us with something to talk about. Thank you for joining us; please let us know which platform you choose!

Lifebook Online By Mindvalley Can It Change Your Life?

24m · Published 22 Dec 16:00

I believe that any time is good for making resolutions as long as you stick to them. However, New Year's is the time when we all want to make changes to our life, and Lifebook may just be the perfect way to do it. But can you actually change your life by taking one single course? It sure sounds good in theory, but let’s see if it can stand the test of reality. I will analyze it with my hypnotherapist experience to measure the effect on the brain. Can it restructure the brain to the point where a person can do less and achieve more, with less resistance? This is an important question as it can have implications for how people approach their lives and reach their goals.

What Is Lifebook Online?

Mindvalley's Lifebook Online is an online personal development program that helps you to become the best version of yourself. The program provides a comprehensive framework for self-discovery, with a focus on health, relationships, career, finances, and spirituality.

Lifebook offers step-by-step guidance so that you can create and live your ideal life. The program uses meditation, journaling exercises, visualizations, and other transformative practices to help you transform your life from the inside out. Additionally, it provides powerful community support and accountability to ensure that you stay on track and reach your goals.

Main Tools Of The Program

  • Visualization
  • Guided Meditations
  • Future Journaling
  • Taking Action

IMHO Reviews Mindvalley
The platform offers courses developed by the world’s leading experts, providing users with access to tools, techniques, and wisdom from some of the most powerful minds on the planet.

Mindvalley is an online learning platform that offers 70+ courses in personal growth, health, fitness, mindfulness, and more. Founded by Vishen Lakhiani in 2003, Mindvalley seeks to empower individuals to discover their potential and turn it into something amazing.

Lifebook Online is the perfect entry point to Mindvalley because it offers a comprehensive approach to life transformation. It provides you with an opportunity to work with all of the areas of your life so that you can identify which ones require more attention. Once you have completed the Lifebook Online program, you get a Mindvalley membership and focus on areas of life that need more attention. Even though Likebook is not part of the annual Mindvalley Membership (which offers access to more than 70 Mindvalley classes for a fee of $499 yearly), it is a great program that I recommend checking out.

Does Lifebook Online Work?

Yes, Lifebook Online does work. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will be able to improve your vision and be ready to take on the world. As you progress through the program, neural connections in your brain will grow as well as develop new ideas. This will help you reach your goals faster and with more confidence. By the end of the course, you will probably have a newfound passion for life and an increased sense of purpose.

Lifebook Itself is an amazing tool that can help reinforce learning. It allows you to track progress and stay motivated to keep implementing the blueprint. Many people - including myself - get excited when they first take a new course, but within a few weeks, they find themselves losing interest. Lifebook Online helps avoid that by reminding you of a daily routine, your vision, your goals - i.e. and all the reasons for improvements.

The Silva Ultramind System Review: Does It Work? By Mindvalley

8m · Published 16 Dec 01:00

What is the Silva Ultramind by Mindvalley?

The Silva Ultramind by Mindvalley is a 28-day program that consists of 30-40 minutes of daily meditations and exercises. The program is divided into four levels that are suitable for beginners, each with a clear description and purpose. The first level familiarizes the user with the concepts of the Silva Ultramind System and the exercises that will be a core component of the journey. In the second level, users learn to understand the power of their intuition and to start projecting their consciousness outside the body to overcome existing issues. The third level focuses on setting up goals, creating a vision of the future, and learning how to heal your body faster. Finally, in the fourth level, users practice improving the accuracy of their intuition and incorporating all the practices into their daily routines.

Check Out Our Online Courses Reviews.

How much does Mindvalley’s Silva Ultramind cost?

It is important to keep in mind that this product must be purchased as part of the $99/month unlimited plan ($499 a year). However, because the program is 28 days long, one should be able to complete Silva Ultramind within one month. Remember that there is a simple 15-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.

How does Silva Ultramind work?

Silva Ultramind is a unique technique that can help unlock the power of the subconscious mind. It works by first switching the brain from beta waves, which are associated with daily thoughts and worries, to alpha waves associated with relaxation and creativity. Next, it helps the user create a personal goal or vision. After that, Silva Ultramind works to program the subconscious mind to act in line with that goal or vision. Finally, the individual is brought into a theta brainwave state, in which there is no difference between conscious and unconscious mental activity. This helps develop a deep connection between conscious thought and subconscious action, while also allowing access to deeper levels of creativity and intuition. In summary, Silva Ultramind’s multi-step approach makes it an effective tool to help individuals achieve their goals by harnessing the subconscious mind.

In just 30 seconds, I can switch from my normal state into the alpha mode, allowing me to focus on the task at hand more effectively. Mindvalley For Business Review: What It Is and How It Works?

9m · Published 06 Dec 12:00

Today I want to talk about a topic that I haven't discussed in any of my articles in the past but I have been asked about frequently. Mindvalley for business: is it a good idea or not?

I haven't used Mindvalley  for my own business because our team is relatively small, and most of us take Mindvalley Quests anyway and don't need all the tools that Mindvalley for Business provides. I first joined Mindvalley about 2 years ago and it completely changed both my personal and professional life. It helped me to reach my business goals and set new ones. I like the flexibility that the platform offers and that I can learn at my own pace whenever I have time for that. And while Mindvalley for Business may have additional features that would suit larger teams better, it's not necessary for us right now. But Mindvalley definitely helped not only me but our whole team build a strong company vision and taught us how to cooperate with each other more effectively for better results.

What does Mindvalley For Business offer?
Mindvalley for Business provides a variety of resources to help teams succeed. These include live events, growth opportunities, workshops, conferences, webinars, and more. Through these resources, teams are able to accelerate their progress toward achieving their objectives.

So who could benefit from Mindvalley Business and why should you think about getting it for your team? As we all know, the workplace can be an incredibly disheartening place for many employees. According to recent studies, 85% of employees are not engaged in the workplace and 81% are considering leaving their jobs. This is a troubling statistic that speaks to a larger problem - employees feeling unappreciated and unsupported. While there are many contributing factors to this lack of engagement, it seems that appreciation remains at the core of this issue. 69% of employees say they would commit more to their work if they were appreciated more, suggesting that a little recognition could go a long way in improving morale and productivity. Employers need to take these statistics seriously if they want to keep their workforce motivated and invested in their success, but of course, not everyone has time to do that. Mindvalley offers a solution for this problem: they can help transform your team mindset and collaboration with their unique "360 Approach To Growth".

To me, Mindvalley for Business is an advanced corporate training platform intended to assist companies in unlocking their team's latent capabilities. It provides an array of captivating, interactive, and tailored experiences for companies of all sizes. The least amount of people necessary for the program is generally twenty persons and the cost per individual is $299.

You can select the practice that is most suitable to your business’s requirements and coordinate it with your current career growth plans. Ultimately, you can evaluate effectiveness by monitoring advancement using analytical and reporting software, guaranteeing that you reach your intended goals.

Is Mindvalley Business Worth It?

Absolutely, Mindvalley Business is beneficial. It can be a tremendous aid for companies to construct a strong basis for prosperity in their business and boost output by offering individuals novel expertise and recognizing of how to form not simply a progressive work environment but also more contented and upbeat personnel and add enthusiasm to an office.

Scribd Audiobooks Review: Is it Worth It Compare To Audible

6m · Published 28 Nov 15:00

Scribd is an audiobook and ebook subscription service, with millions of titles. For a monthly fee of just $9.99, an unlimited number of audiobooks, ebooks, magazines, and sheet music can be accessed. This is an incredible value for avid readers, as it allows them to have constant access to new content without having to pay for each individual book. In addition, Scribd also offers a great selection of free books, so there is always something new to read.

Read our complete Scribd review at IMHO Reviews.

Scribd Vs Audible:
It really depends on what the person is looking for. Audible has always been considered the better audiobook service, but Scribd was more popular because it offered unlimited access to books in their library for a low monthly fee. However, now that Audible has launched an All-You-Can-Listen subscription plan that is only $7.95 per month and includes unlimited access to thousands of audiobooks, Audible Originals, and podcasts, more people are choosing Audible.

Check out our honest Audible Review:

There are a few key differences between Scribd and Audible. For one, Audible is an audiobook company, so their library only consists of audiobooks. This is in contrast to Scribd, which has a library of both books and other formats (such as audiobooks,  ebooks, magazines, sheet music. etc.). Additionally, Scribd has a smaller number of titles overall than Audible. However, both companies offer a great selection of popular titles and classics.

There is no free membership to Scribd. However, they do offer a free trial for new members. After the free trial, memberships start at $9.99 per month. Memberships give you unlimited access to Scribd's library of books, audiobooks, etc.
You can cancel Scribd after the free trial. You can do this by logging into your account and going to the 'Billing' section. From here, you can select the 'Cancel Subscription option.

Scribd App:
The Scribd App is a great way to read and listen to books on your phone. It has a clean, simple design that makes it easy to browse and find titles you're interested in. The search function is also useful, and you'll be suggested titles based on your interests. You can download and listen offline, which is great for when you're on the go. I really like the app and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good book-reading experience.

The biggest downside to Scribd is that it does not support Kindle readers and does not have its own reader. This means you can only read on your cellphone or tablet, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the selection of books is not as large as on other reading platforms. However, Scribd does offer a variety of other content, such as audiobooks, comics, and documents.

Is Scribd Worth it?
I highly recommend Scribd to all my friends. There's no doubt that Scribd is a great service. For just a few dollars a month, you get access to an amazing library of audiobooks and self-improvement content. The question is, is it worth it? For me, the answer is yes. I love being able to listen to audiobooks while I'm doing other things, and the selection on Scribd is excellent. The self-improvement section has also been really helpful, providing me with guidance and motivation that I wouldn't have otherwise had access to. If you're considering signing up for Scribd, I say go for it. It's a great investment in your personal growth and development.
