Today in America, does anyone really know what the American Way really is? We are in a difficult position in our nation today; it is getting harder and harder to be in the group because the group wants to go to the middle where it is safe.

There is this word "character". Your character is a snapshot of who you are as a person.

So, here's the question, "If someone were taking pictures of you  each day, each hour, each moment, even when no one is looking at what you're doing - would your character make you out to be someone worth following?"

The message for this Thanksgiving comes from some very special words written by one man, John Winthrop. He spoke these words over 400 years ago to a band of people we call Pilgrims. And here we are, all these years later, and these words still ring out with more truth than most any words or speeches we hear in America today.  If we were able to get all of America today to embrace these words, we would truly be a far greater nation than we could ever imagine.
