18 - Rachel Held Evans Tribute
27m · PublishedNot Many of You Should Become Teachers,' is a podcast that explores the world of K-12 education as it intersects with Christian faith. In this episode we tribute the life and work of Rachel Held Evans. Rachel Held Evans was an author, mother, and co-creator of the Evolving Faith Conference. Her voice and work have been incredibly influential in both of Dave and Riley's lives. In addition, her books have heavily influenced the way both Dave and Riley teach Bible to students. Rachel was a skeptic, but never a cynic. She was fierce but filled with grace. We are grateful that her words in print will continue to resonate with more and more people. Check out her works "Searching for Sunday" or "Inspired." Continue to #prayforRHE, specifically for her family as they mourn. A lot of who we are as educators has been formed #becauseofRHE.
