Interested in learning how to build your confidence to unleash the extraordinary person you truly are? I’d love to help you.

In episode 3 of Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things, I talk with one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, Nick Scott.

I met Nick out dancing at the clubs back in college and he always had a great energy about him. Then I saw posts like this one on his Facebook page:

“I’m hearing a lot of people losing power. I’m in the Fairfax area and still have power. If you need power for a few hours to do homework/study for finals week, to say warm until your power comes on, to watch your favorite TV show… hit me up”

“I’m hearing a lot of people losing power. I’m in the Fairfax area and still have power. If you need power for a few hours to do homework/study for finals week, to say warm until your power comes on, to watch your favorite TV show… hit me up”

That’s when I knew I needed to interview him for my podcast.

Learn how losing a friend put things into perspective for Nick and allowed him to lose weight, run a couple marathons and truly be one of the most giving people I’ve ever met.

You are More Than Just a Single Mom

32m · Published 15 Dec 23:50

Interested in learning how to build your confidence to unleash the extraordinary person you truly are? I’d love to help you.

Today I’m launching a new project of mine – a podcast called Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things.

My goal is to bring you each week an average, every day middle class person who has found something special inside of them to do something great with their lives or for those around them.  I hope you’ll find yourself saying, “Wow, that person’s just like me!” and then saying, “If they can do that, I know I can too.”

If I can get people to feel a connection with someone on this podcast and help them towards making a change in their life for the better, then I’ve done my job.

There is nothing I get more excited about than seeing people happy, loved and successful.  I want to help you realize that each and every one of us is great at something.  I want to help you find the confidence to be who you truly are and accomplish a life filled with happiness, love and success.

I hope Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things is just one of the ways that provides the inspiration you need to be fabulous by other ordinary but extraordinary people!

My first episode is with single mom and life coach, Mel Collins.

Despite a divorce and raising two kids as a single mom, Mel has chosen to take the path of gratitude in her start towards helping others and herself.

Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things has 655 episodes in total of non- explicit content. Total playtime is 266:25:19. The language of the podcast is English. This podcast has been added on November 25th 2022. It might contain more episodes than the ones shown here. It was last updated on March 31st, 2024 03:16.
