In this interview, we sit down with Dr. Greg Yurasek to discuss the general framework for promotion in academic medicine & how to enjoy the journey.

Dr. Yurasek is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Boston followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Harvard University and a Critical Care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Today, he is a cardiac intensivist at the Children's National Hospital and the director of their simulation program.
