Larry Rightler and Pastor Josh have a conversation based off of sermons preached from Ruth. In this episode they discuss entitlement culture, the grace of God, and being thankful. 

In this teaching we ask the question "What is God like?" We cover three of the attributes of God to get a taste of what the Bible says about the nature of God. Using Psalm 139 we cover the omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence of God. 

In our first Men's Bible Study we ask, "What is the Bible?" We talk about "General Revelation" and "Special Revelation." 

The churches in Galatia are being invaded by false teachers. One of their strategies to undermine the true gospel message is to discredit Paul's apostolic credentials. Paul, to prove his calling, points to his life before and after coming to Christ. In his testimony of conversion, we get a moving picture of the nature and power of God's grace. We also learn how to write our Christian testimony!

The Apostle Paul writes a fiery letter to churches in Galatia. These churches are allowing false teachers to distort the gospel. Paul must bring them back to true Christianity - the gospel of grace and freedom in Christ. This week we learn the difference between "man's gospel" and "God's gospel"; we learn why it matters that we get the gospel right and get the gospel out. 

Naomi is no longer depressed and bitter. She is actively instructing Ruth on how to approach Boaz with a hint of marriage. Things get provocative on the threshing room floor and the righteousness of Boaz is put to the test, as well as his willingness to redeem a Moabite woman.

Naomi marvels at God's grace to lead Ruth to the fields of Boaz, a worthy man, and a close relative who is a kinsman-redeemer. 

Naomi returns to Bethlehem with Ruth. She is crippled by grief and bitterness. But her bitterness is replaced by hope based on the work of a kinsman redeemer in the life of Ruth.
