Most SDRs believe if they write great emails, they'd crush their quota and live happily ever after. 

They don't consider what if their email never lands in prospects' inboxes. I've seen talented reps placed on PIPs and even get fired because they couldn't get meetings from emails.  

Emails remain a vital source of meetings for the majority of the reps, and we can't take chances. 

While it is your company's responsibility to ensure your domain reputation is how and all checks are in place for your emails to land in the primary inbox.  

 If you are a first-time SDR, you should listen to this podcast to ask your company if they have multiple domains. You might be expected to send 100 emails daily from one domain and produce results.  You will fail without knowing what happened because you were the finest email writer.

Not everyone talks or even thinks about creating a legacy, especially in sales. People are often shortsighted, dealing with their shit that they forget what is truly important in their lives. 

When was the last time you thought about relationships over money in the bank, meeting an old friend over meeting your quota, helping a colleague over getting late for the gym? This certainly has given me perspective and caused me to rethink my priorities in my life
