As much as this we strive for financial freedom/stability, to have nice things and be the very best at any and everything we do, we lose sight of other important lessons and blessings that we can also view as us achieving excellence, such as blessing somebody through the work we do, whether it be mundane or exhilarating.

Let's wrap up the weekend with some reflection on Psalms 34:14, which reminds us to seek peace and pursue it consistently; how so? By departing evil deeds, sins, attitudes etc. This isn't a simple, quick fix process, especially since bad habits can be built from these 'ways', David is referring to in this passage. So when hearing this, be encouraged to discuss with friends or people you trust, ourselves here from the VP, and above all to God about what how to go about starting afresh, and walking down the path to righteousness. It's never easy, but worth it. God bless you all.

we'd like to think we're right on time with some encouragement for the new year, as we're 3 weeks deep...where doubt, fatigue, and inconsistency may creep in, we're here to encourage you with something new we're bringing to the pod. Today's episode was recorded around early September, so we touch on a few things that were trending or important to mention at that point, but the main course of this episode for you to all reflect on is dealing with comparison. We've all been there and still fight those thoughts and feelings of either inferiority or superiority to others, but we don't and shouldn't have to think that way, because your race is YOUR individual race - whatever race it is you're running.
