Amy Walters, Lecturer in Film and Media Studies, teaches a class about podcasts at Colgate. In this episode we are joined by Walters and two of her students, Matthew Robertson and Bo Lynett, who created their own podcasts for the class.

The Colgate Live Music Collective is a group of faculty, students and staff that works together to bring live music to campus. We are joined by Jeff Bary, Sweet Family Chair and Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy and Chair in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Joshua Finnell Director of Research and Scholarly Initiatives in the University Libraries to discuss how the Live Music Collective operates and to get a glimpse at some of the exciting artists that will be coming to campus.

Explore the cosmos with Colgate Associate Professor of Physics Jonathan Levine. Professor Levine shares his journey from his childhood interests in astronomy to his work in an upcoming 2027 lunar research mission through NASA’s recurring Payloads and Research Investigations on the Surface of the Moon (PRISM) program. Professor Levine teaches courses in the traditional physics and astronomy curriculum, and a Core Sciences course on the atmosphere Core 166S. Levine also works with the Benton Scholars at Colgate and discusses some of the exciting work being done by students in that program.

In this episode we are joined by professors from Colgate's Economics Department for a discussion of the National Debt. Nicole Simpson and Rich Higgins guide us through the complexities of the debt, from what it is and how we got to where we are to the implications on the future of the global economy. Simpson is the W. Bradford Wiley Professor of International Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics. Higgins is an Assistant Professor in Economics.
