In New Orleans there is a person whose name will forever live in infamy. She is a queen that in my opinion reigns higher than all other royalty. Her name is Marie Laveau and she is the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. In this week's episode we finally cover the life of someone whose influence will never die! Whose a fan of the movie Aladdin? Well did you know that the genie in the movie is actually based on a folklore from the Middle East? There is a story of beings known as Djinn. They can shapeshift, go between dimensions and they can lightly possess people. But with all that known I’d like to tell you about a Djinn that might be the most famous. In a world full of supernatural entities have you ever heard of a hole in Washington state known as Mel’s Hole? Well if you haven’t then get ready for a crazy story. In 1997 there was a call made to an early morning paranormal radio station called Coast to Coast AM. The host Art Bell entertains this story from a man named Mel Waters, where he goes into detail about how there is this other worldly hole on his property. Things have been thrown in the hole, tests have been conducted to figure out its depth and the government allegedly even got involved for a cover up. How many of us love a good urban legend? What about one that actually turns out to be based on a true story? Well, have you ever heard the one about The Green Man? Or maybe you know him as Charlie No Face. If not in this episode we talk about the myth of a cryptid that walks up and down the night roads of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm not sure if a run in with these creatures is ideal, but surprisingly a number of people actually had an encounter with the person who inspired the urban legend. Kicking off a new year of stories I thought it might be a good idea to go down to Mexico and South America. No we didn’t get a chance to take a trip out to these countries, but I did find a story involving them all. Have any of you ever heard of a creepy crawler known as La Mano Peluda? It translates to The Hairy Hand, and if you haven’t heard of it then no worries because we got you covered. There are a few various origins for this cryptid, but what I can tell you is that it hunts at night for unsuspecting victims. Even using your bathroom at night could prove to be a mistake.
