9: Bonus Episode - Cannabis and Taxes

1h 0m · Published 15 Feb 18:00

On this bonus episode of the Farmcast, we sit down with our accountant and owner of Moxy Accounting in Portland Oregon - Katye Maxon-Landis! Listen to us pick her brain about what it takes to play by the rules, pay your taxes, and make it in this cut-throat industry. Among other things, we talk about how keeping costs and overhead as low as possible gives us small farmers a very necessary competitive edge. We also get into the concept of green washing and what it feels like in the industry now that the cooperate takeover has descended. We hope you enjoy this info-packed chat!
