Angel's Authentic Action Podcast

by Gabrielle Angel Lilly

Welcome to Angel’s Authentic Action Podcast, brought to you by FunFast Productions and GAL Media, and supporting the Authentic Action School online. I’m your host, Gabrielle Angel Lilly, and I am here to wake you up, shake you up, maybe even break you up a little bit; by challenging your beliefs, examining our social constructs and biases, and offering diverse perspectives on living a good life.On this show, I will be interviewing and conversing with outstanding creators—artists, activists, actors, authors, poets, performers, musicians, movers, shakers, builders, teachers, preachers, healers, entrepreneurs, explorers, seekers, and speakers, who are deliberately designing lives they love, or at least, mostly love, with the intention of bringing you motivation, information, and inspiration to help you design a life you can love. I hope you will find sparks here which will expand your personal awareness and understanding of different perspectives; and fan the flames of your own unique desires.I like to dive in deep to uncover what motivates us, what scares us, what we love; and why and how we do the things we do.I believe we are ultimately all one, and also, each of us is a unique, tiny shiny ever-evolving spark of this Great Universe. I think we owe it to ourselves, and to each other, to explore and expand what we want to become, and to do what we can to become it. When any one of us builds a better life, it uplifts us all towards a better life. Especially when we share with one another. The Authentic Action School is an online school, specializing in empowerment, self-discovery, and helping you create a life you love. The aim of the Angel’s Authentic Action Podcast is to offer a platform for unique voices to express themselves, to share diverse perspectives and lifestyles, demonstrate peaceful conflict resolution and nonconformity, and expand our awareness and acceptance of one another, as well as to bring some lightness and some humor to potentially heavy topics. I hope you will find this show informative, uplifting, and inspiring. I value and appreciate your attention, and I welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions. New episodes will be out weekly, and replays are always available on all your favorite platforms. You can learn more about me and the Authentic Action School on most major social media platforms, and you can find my music, art, and other personal published works on Amazon, YouTube, and Spotify.

Creative Community Building, and the Ongoing Evolution of Consent Culture, with Julian Wolf, AAA 007

56m · Published 22 Jan 16:00

My guest on today’s episode of the Authentic Action Podcast, is an activist, artist, event planner, and an active member of the kink, queer, goth and burner communities, with a special passion for creating safe environments and events for people to explore themselves and each other. This beautifully articulate human is a strong consent-culture advocate and spokesperson, a relationship anarchist & educator, an activist, an active visual and performance artist, and a regular, good person. I was especially delighted to learn that we share a vision for building safe spaces to develop better, more inclusive and compassionate communities, and for helping people find ways to do the work to heal themselves and to build healthier relationships in all aspects. In this conversation, they share some interesting views on the evolving responsibilities of good citizenship, how people can get to know each other better in safe spaces, and how societal perceptions are shifting towards more inclusion and accepted curiosity. We also talked about their vision for a more artist-friendly future. I am pleased to introduce you to the multi-talented foreperson at Cabaret Audacity and founder of Audacious Productions, the marvelous Julian Addams-Wolf.

I hope you will check out some of the cool art, events, and spaces that they are promoting, including tarot readings and other forms of intuitive divination. You can find Julian at https://julianwolf.net/, on Facebook or Instagram, as TheJulianWolf or Julian Addams Wolf. As they said, that’s Addams, with two d’s, like the family, and Wolf with a howl for effect. I appreciate your attention today, and I welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions. You can find me on Facebook as well, or contact me through most social media platforms. Also, you can purchase my books and music on Amazon, my tee-shirts on tee-spring, and you can find my courses, artwork, and information about my current projects at www.angellilly.com . You can also learn more about the authentic action school online at www.authenticactionschool.com . Thank you for listening. Don’t forget to play everyday and drive forward!

49m · Published 21 Jan 01:00

In today’s episode of the Authentic Action Podcast, I am speaking with a dear friend of mine, my son’s own grandmother. She is of course, also a wise woman, with many untold stories, which I have been encouraging her to get around to sharing. I know you will enjoy her knack for storytelling, and her colorful wit. It is my pleasure to introduce you to my son’s father’s mother, life-long writer and avid storyteller, and published author in the making, Ms. Gail Kent.

I am your host, Angel, and I would love to challenge your beliefs, examine some of our social constructs, expose our biases, and offer unique and diverse perspectives on living a good life.

My intention with the Authentic Action Podcast is to explore diverse perspectives of what it means to live a good life, and to inspire, educate, and motivate you to design and live a life that YOU love.

I will be interviewing and conversing with outstanding creators—artists, activists, actors, authors, poets, performers, musicians, movers, shakers, builders, teachers, preachers, healers, entrepreneurs, explorers, seekers, and speakers who are deliberately designing and living lives they love.

We are going to dive deeper into what is holding people back from achieving the life of their dreams, and what their greatest dreams for the future are.

I hope this show will

Inspire you to consider your own stories, help you find and voice your own beliefs and boundaries, and perhaps take at least one small step towards realizing your own dreams for our best future.

Grab your favorite beverage, get comphy, and let’s dive into it.

That wraps up my interview with soon to be published author and life-long storyteller, Gail Kent. I hope you enjoyed her Boomer Rap, and her story. I hope you will keep an eye or ear out for her book, A Fish in the Desert, which we hope to get published this year. You can reach out to Gail with words of encouragement or entertainment, on Facebook. Let her know if you want to be part of her Beta reading group. I appreciate your attention today, and I welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions. You can find me on Facebook as well, or contact me through most social media platforms. Staying the Creative Course in a Changing Industry, Film Making in the 21st Century with Alan Fulford

50m · Published 30 Dec 01:00

Staying the Creative Course in a Changing Industry, Film Making in the 21st Century with Alan Fulford.
Today’s episode is a face to face interview with the often quiet and sometimes reserved man behind the camera. He owns and operates a local business called Field and Frame, which rents out camera and audio equipment. This is a man with a rich body of knowledge about getting the right shot, and a good friend to many, including me. He agreed to do this interview on very short notice, when I mentioned that I was in danger of falling off my intended schedule for this podcast, and he tolerated my use of phone cameras for audio and video, in a two story building of equipment. Ah, the ironies of a good life! In this interview, I ask about how he got to be the main operator at Field and Frame, which has been in the Nob Hill area since 1987. He shares some of his personal stories and perspective and talks about changes in the film industry, especially in the transition from film to digital media. It is my pleasure to introduce Mr. Alan Fulford.

. I hope you enjoyed hearing some of Alan’s story and perspective. I know I have some ideas swimming in my head about building a CoOp within the facility he already has there, and I certainly know where I will be going when I am ready to rent some real equipment for any big productions that come into my future. I hope that today you are taking at least one positive action towards your most authentic life. I appreciate your time and attention. You can find out more about Alan

and Field and Frame at www.fieldandframe.com and about me at www.angellilly.com, and find me as Angel Lilly on all the social media platforms. Be sure to check out the Authentic Action School online if you are interested in ways to transform your life by your own design, and until next time, shine bright and be aligned!

Field & Frame is a film and video production house located in Albuquerque, NM owned and operated by Alan Fulford. Based in Nob Hill since 1987, F&F rents professional gear to independents, novice filmmakers, and Hollywood movie productions.

Passion For Art, Interview with Felicia Davis and Julian Wolf

57m · Published 09 Dec 22:00

Today’s episode is a recording of a heartfelt conversation with another visionary and fellow artist, and her friendly neighbor and interesting artist who happened to be visiting. I have had the pleasure of working with Felicia Davis on a couple of short crafty projects, using small recycled and natural found items. She is well known in Albuquerque as an innovative designer, visionary artist, a stimulating entertainer, and action oriented multi-talented facilitator. This woman is admired by many and matched by none, when it comes to getting things done, connecting people with the right other people, and enjoying her life wholeheartedly with humor and full-on sense of playfulness all the while.

In this interview, you will also hear from her friend and neighbor, transgender activist and sexual awareness teacher, multitalented performing artist and nonbinary model, Julian Wolf.

She is proudly and keenly naughty and nice. I am happy to introduce you to the lovely and fierce, Felecia Davis.

It was a real pleasure to have this conversation, and I am looking forward to several future conversations about the subject of a community artist center in Albuquerque, especially as it relates to my own vision of building giant Unity Play stations in the shapes of dragons. More about that later.

I hope you enjoyed this episode of Angel’s Authentic Action Podcast. I appreciate your attention, and I welcome your questions comments and suggestions. You can contact me anytime through many social media platforms and at www.angellilly.com, and find out more about the authentic action school at www.authenticactionschool.com.

You can find Felicia on Facebook and Instagram, or contact her at www.feliciadavisconcepts.com, and you can find out more about Julian Addams Wolf on Instagram and Facebook at www.facebook.com/professionaljulian
