S4E6 History as nursery rhymes
1m · PublishedWe’ve all grown up singing nursery rhymes and dancing to their tunes. In our classes, we have always talked about the history of nursery rhymes which has left children speechless. The dark histories are difficult to accept at first, but the whole idea that the cute rhymes have a meaning past makes it very interesting.
Recently, we’ve asked our kids to convert a piece of history into a nursery rhyme. Initially, I thought the idea wouldn't pick up. To my surprise, kids got totally hooked up.
