You are not your body! It’s important to take care of yourself mentally and physically, but sometimes the two must be treated as though they were separate. The mind may be willing but it is unwise to exert effort if the body is failing to co-operate. Take care of your health mentally, rest and spend time healing and re-aligning with yourself so that you can better perform and live a healthier and happy life.

Unfortunately, we only have 24 hours in a day and if we were not careful of how we manage and spend our time, we may end up burning ourselves out. Life is demanding and what we devote ourselves to is important to consider when it comes to taking care of ourselves mentally, emotionally and physically. Relook your to-do list, rethink about what should be at the top of your priorities and refuel when you feel you’re reaching the edge of absolute burnout.

The relationships we have with others are important for who we grow into becoming and the life we end up leading. It’s important to remain grateful for the people in our lives that constantly invest time, love and patience into our growth. Relationships that are mutual in love and effort are the ones that flourish, and in order for that to happen communication must be transparent and consistent at all times.

In a game chess there are many rules to remember , however, the 3 rules that you can take from chess and apply to your life might be easier to follow. Firstly, the first move you make is not the game changing move. Secondly, you never announce the move you’re going make & you adapt your strategy according to whatever your opponent plays. Lastly, just like chess, the little steps on the road to success are a fun experience that should be enjoyed in the present moment and remembered for the future moments.

Being able to remain consistent at mastering a task is an admirable trait to hold, however, what happens when our own ability to remain consistent in ONE thing actually confines us? Consistency is an incredible and effective tool for growth and excellent performance, but it does limit our ability to become adaptable to different demands and changes within life when we become too focused on remaining consistent.

It’s always a blessing to receive help from others when pursuing our dreams, but what happens when no one is able to help us? When we are assisted by others we should not rely on them to make our dreams happen but instead appreciate their efforts whilst still trying exerting all of our own attention and energy into making our dreams a reality.

Are you open for renovations? Two important keys for living and leading a life of growth is to be self-aware and to not be self-limiting at the same time. Life is all about embarking on a journey to know who you currently are and to discover who you can be. Although it is a good thing to be self-aware, it may also be limiting when we indefinitely define who we are according to who we have always known ourselves to be. You can be more than you are at every stage of your life. You just have to see that there is potential to be more than what you are and to stop limiting yourself according to your expectations of who you think you are.
