Hey friends!! This episode features Laura Beth James from the Flatonia FFA Chapter. She was recently elected as one of Texas FFA's State Officers representing the Area 11 Association and is an incoming freshman at Texas A&M University. Her firm foundation of faith and agriculture along with her involvement in FFA and 4H have an undeniable role in her story. She has a key role in the law SB-801 that is active in Texas Legislature. Amongst all this, Laura Beth has experienced a medical condition that changed her life. Throughout the ups and the downs, she looks for the light and encourages others to make the most out of their stories. Laura Beth has a passion for others and inspires hope to others on their journey to joy!!

All FFA members have witnessed the impact of an ag teacher. They help with late night practices, encouragement before contests or shows, and truly help us grow. One individual who has done all the above and more is my ag teacher and FFA advisor Rocio Martinez. In this episode I chat with Mrs. Martinez about the hardships of this career, importance of agriculture education, the current ag teacher shortage, and her story. There's a lot of laughs and a suprise guest at the end!!! I hope you enjoy meeting the people behind my love for agriculture and the FFA!
