Minority Representation - Ed 42

This episode will conclude the minority representation in education series. In this episode, we will be getting into deeper conversations about minority representation in education in conjunction with the Black Lives Matter movement and schools. We will also be discussing what we as educators need to do as well as the community to make a change for our students. 

In this episode, we will be introducing the topic of minority representation and social justice education. We will be looking at and discussing articles and experts from The Wretched Earth by Frantz Fanon, Teaching to Transgress by bell hooks, Coats, Dr. Leigh Patel, and Paulo Friere. The goal of this podcast series is to shed light on minority representation in education to create ways we, as educators, can better equip ourselves to advocate and support our students.
