Episode 15 - Myra Flynn's Birth Story

In this episode I continue my conversation with Myra Flynn as she recaps her birth experience. Myra recounts feeling defeated when having to get an epidural and how the loss of sensation in her legs lead her to question how she would know when it was time. "You'll know when you know" was what she was told.   You can follow Myra at @babymamamyra and @birthandstuffpod on Instagram

Episode 14 - "How often do we mistake our power for trauma?" feat. Myra Flynn (Part 1)

This week's episode features Myra Flynn (@babymamamyra on IG). We discuss racial disparities in pregnancy and labor and how race plays an unfortunate factor in our health care system. The conversation I had with Myra was very enlightening and eye-opening for me, which is why I had to save the rest of her birth story for its own special episode that will debut later this week.
