1h 33m · Published 29 Jul 12:00

(NSFW) Once again back at the offices of the AZ Craft Brewers Guild to talk to the Executive Director Rob Fullmer and newly appointed Deputy Director Andrew Bauman. We talk about the much anticipated Real Wild and Woody 2022 indoor festival. This year happening a Bell Bank Park, the same site that this years Strong Beer Festival was at as well. But, luckily for all of us, it is inside a nice air conditioned space. We go over some of the pain points that Strong Beerfest had and how hopefully this years RW&W festival is going to be better. But, also the reason why the Guild choose to have it at this new location. After the break we talk about the connections that the Arizona Brewers Guild has with other guilds across the nation. We touch on what difficulties New Jersey is having currently and how it might happen here in Arizona.

This episode is a collaboration podcast between the AZ Craft Brewers Guild and The Hoppy Craftsmen. To hear their edit of the show head on over to the Arizona Beer Frontier playlist on YouTube.

HCPC Road Sodas 11 - New Brew Old News | Ad Astra Bottle Review

1h 10m · Published 15 Apr 09:00

(NSFW) On this episode of Road Sodas Ed and Chris sit down and try a new brew and go over some old news again. This week the new brew was given to them by Ad Astra Brewing Company to try and give their honest opinion on it. For those that have heard the show before, know that they are nothing but honest when it comes to brew reviews. They go over their adventures after the road trip up to Wren House in Prescott. They got more beer and food in downtown Prescott at Lazy G's Brewing, Park Plaza Liquor and Deli, and Ad Astra Brewing Company. Old Breaking News, downtown Mesa is becoming a beer destination. Chris becomes instantly sad at this news, since he no longer lives near there. Ed gets angry about Stone Brewing's Greg Koch "eulogy" style announcement about Marin Brewing closing. The trend of low calorie and N/A beers continues with Guinness and Deschutes Brewery releasing new brews. Another great source of beer, a health blog, puts out the best beer spot in Arizona.

Road Sodas: An alcoholic beverage (usually beer or perhaps malt liquor) consumed inside a moving vehicle. This beverage can be consumed by passenger, driver, or both. Road sodasare illegal in most states due toopen containerlaws. Still, they are widely enjoyed as evidenced by all the beer canslittering rural road sides.

Which, weather permitting, serves up delicious beers on their rustic patio with incredible views of the surrounding Prescott Air Park area. HCPC Road Sodas 10 - Copper State Beerfest | Cöld Brüe Pödcast Interview

1h 12m · Published 22 Feb 08:00

(NSFW) In this episode of Road Sodas it's a rare Chris-less show, but he still manages to tell a bad joke. Ed takes on the hosting duties solo but he isn't alone. Greg From Cöld Brüe Pödcast made the hour-long drive to the studio to give his first hand account of the Copper State beer Festival, but first he's put through the “not so rapid” round. The show is a little longer than the typical Road Sodas episode but that's what happens when you bring on someone who is used to hosting their own show. Don't worry Ed will never be left alone again.
