Alex talks about her journey, talking almost a year to get diagnosed, talking about her experience with a stoma bag and how she is doing now with her Crohn's. We also talk IBD Sirens so we can have the right of way to use the toilet in the car, would be such a good idea and we talk about food, drink and of course Coffee. Great advise from Alex, saying be positive.

World ileostomy Day Special - Rare Story born without an Anus/Stoma Stations - With Patricia

There's a first time for everything! In today's episode it's a World Ileostomy Special! I am joined with Patricia from Florida/Orlando She was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease age of 12! in 2012! Patricia talks about her journey leading up to her diagnosis!

She also has no Anus, which is very rare, this leads talking about how she couldn't have a colonoscopy and also talking about her Ileostomy which is permeant. Patricia also shares that she is Neurodiverse and has a diagnosis of ADHD, this is quite common when you have a chronic illness to have some form of neurodiversity.

We also mention about the idea of Stoma stations which would be helpful for anyone who has stoma instead of the constant wait for the loo.

This was a great special episode who is a frequent follower of the show. We love that, good advise as well thank you Patricia!

Dan talks about his Crohn's Journey, and his battle to success, Dan has lots of IBD clients, Mason and Dan became friends from mutual friend and one of Dan's clients Laura, who appeared on the podcast about 2 months ago.

Dan gives great advise. So much discussed. This conversation was long overdue.
