The focus of Episode 4 is on Breast Cancer. In this episode we share the story of 7 Breast Cancer survivors including one male survivor. In addition we talk to Rachel Dear, a leading Oncologist from St Vincent’s Hospital  and she answers the questions posed by our guest cancer survivors.

In Episode 3 of Gift of Friendship, Petrea King, founder and director of Quest for Life, talks to us about her journey with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and the profound impact it had on her life - from discovery to recovery. Dr Sam Milliken, Head of the Haematology Department of St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney, talks to us about blood diseases and the wonderful advancements they are making with alternative treatments.

Episode 2 of Gift of Friendship is jam packed with content, We talk to David Eisenbacher, an American man who donated his stem cells to Colleena Presnell as part of the International Bone Marrow registry. We hear from Julie Soon, a lawyer, about her journey with AML. Neil Pennock, a Director of the Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation tells us about the Australian Bone Marrow Registry and the drive for more local donors. Amanda McLaughlin the apheresis clinician at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, explains how stem cells are extracted  from the donor.  And of course, we wrap up with some great reads and podcasts to listen to.

With Gift of Friendship, we visit, talk and listen to patients about their diagnosis, bringing hope, comfort and confidence that with modern medicine their treatment and recovery is doable.
