HEALING TO THE NATIONS

All sorts of memories and emotions whirled inside him. His fear of death and thirst for life had aroused complex feelings he’d never experienced before. The fact that the last moments of his life would be spent in pain added to his sorrow. The thought of his wife becoming a widow so young and his leaving her to raise two children by herself broke his heart and he couldn’t stem the flow of tears.

On this day, 33-year-old Rony Korkis, an Iraqi living in the United States of America, stood rooted to the spot as he held on to his biopsy result with shivering hands. He had just tested positive for Erdheim-Chester disease – a rare type of blood cancer that causes inflammation, tissue damage and organ failure, ultimately resulting in death. This condition is medically incurable and the research on it is limited as there are fewer than five hundred cases recorded worldwide.

Rebecca  Osorno's incredible story began about 2 years earlier at a  Pastors’  and  Leaders’  Conference  in Nicaragua. It was an unforgettable, extraordinary event that stirred an intense desire in Rebecca’s heart to come to the Healing School in South Africa to meet Pastor Chris, the man of God that she had heard about.

Many have   personal accounts of their inimitable encounter with the power of God at the   Healing School, and one of them is Boniwe Maseng, a young lady from South Africa. Her life was full of promises and she   had lived normally until she began to feel persistent weakness. As the   symptoms continued, she decided to seek medical assistance, and the diagnosis was one that spelt adverse consequences. At age twenty-six, Boniwe thought her life was over. This, however, was not going to   be the case, for hope would come to her, like the first rays of the morning sun, when she heard about the Healing School.

Myriam   Thiong Kay’s story began one day while she was visiting her mother. They were   having a good time talking, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Then   Myriam tried to get up and found that she couldn’t due to sharp pain in her   sides and lower back. Experiencing   so much difficulty doing something that should have been easy was alarming.   So Myriam and her mother called the family doctor for a quick consultation.   Upon close examination, the diagnosis of acute back pain emerged. The doctor   prescribed treatments and ordered fifteen-day bedrest. Thus began the ordeal   of her life.

What do  you do when everything humanly possible has been done, and yet there is no   change? This was the situation that Bruce Mbuli found himself in. Though he   was in his fifties, he was full of strength and had a sound work ethic that   distinguished him from his peers. Within a short space of time, however, this   vibrant man was in a position where he was no longer able to live a normal   life due to much pain and tiredness. Getting weaker by the day, he could feel   his life ebbing away. He sought help from the doctors, but he could see the   hopelessness in their eyes. Help wasn’t coming from anyone or anywhere for   him, and he continued to grow worse until someone introduced him to the   Healing School of Pastor Chris.
