In this episode, we sit down with Lisa Pino, JD - Director of the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. We talk health policy and the role of civil rights in policy development, embarking on a career in public service as public health professionals, and the importance of doing what we do in public health with integrity. We sit down with Dr. Paul Rothman, CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, to talk about the intersection of public health and medicine, educating the next generation of providers, and the highlights of a long career in the field.
