What do breathwork, yoga and Ayurveda have in common?

They’re all practices that can help us feel happier and healthier in our bodies. While modalities like these are gaining traction and becoming more mainstream, they don’t necessarily fit the traditional western medical model of “ways to get healthy”.

My guest Regina, of Wolf Medicine Magic, is a practitioner of all three. She doesn’t think being happy and healthy in our bodies is all that revolutionary but she see's that we're more liberated than ever before in how we relate to our health.

Welcome to the final episode of Season 1. It’s just me, Natha on this one, sharing a little bit about my insights and my experience of starting a podcast and taking it through an entire year.

 It’s been a good year, I’ve learned a lot about podcasting (and also about myself). Thank god I had my natal chart on hand to consult with through the process. Join me as I discuss my astrological strengths and weaknesses (this is fun!)

 Also, what’s on the agenda for Season 2?

Astrologically, the time around our 50th year is particularly potent, and this is because of an asteroid called Chiron. Chiron is the “wounded healer” and describes the quality of our childhood traumas, and also shows us the unique medicine we need to heal them.

In our 50th year, we have an opportunity to create a bridge between our past and our future, by healing our Chiron wounds.  As we do this, we unlock essential things within ourselves, and ultimately, we use what we learn to teach others how to heal themselves. This is called the Chiron Return.

My guest Lori Massicot, a Sober Lifestyle Coach pulled off some miracles during her Chiron Return, things that paved the way for what she does now.

How do you jump into the perspective of someone and make it believable?

According to author Claire Rudy Foster, the key lies in an ability to listen. There are subtle and unrefined truths of experience that drip into our conversations with others but a keen ear is needed to pick up on the what those truths really are. Foster can hear them.

In his new book Shine of the Ever, Foster melds his own experiences with gender fluidity with the stories and deep truths of other queer folx, infuses them with magic, and alchemizes them into a rich mélange of human experience. As Foster says, “We all have such nuanced perspectives, and I wanted to show that”.

With a background in accounting and finance, Bill Gee knew all about expectations.
