Into The Spotlight

Evan Ruderman is an outdoor photographer based on the central coast of California. He is a photo assistant for acclaimed adventure photographer Chris Burkard, and travels the world taking photos of surfers, climbers, cyclists and other athletes at the most breathtaking locations on Earth. We talk about Evan's photography journey, the value of working in teams, the experience of turning your passion into a career, preparing for once-in-a-lifetime photo shoots, his most memorable adventures and philosophies around photography.

Vincent Ferrari is awoodworker, maker, entrepreneur, and co-host of Because We Make - a podcast about "making, creativity, and why we do what we do as makers and creatives". Just as he was getting his business off the ground, Vincent was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and found out that he would have to undergo aggressive chemotherapy. However, the battle with cancer only made him stronger, and after beating the cancer altogether, Vincent is reaching new heights.
