Hallowe'en Special - Our paranormal experiences

1h 11m · Published 31 Oct 14:58

In this special episode for Hallowe'en, Matt and AJ talk about their own paranormal experiences, from invisible feet tickling entities, to a speak that speaks to you, Y0Y has seen its fair share of ghosts over the years!

Hopefully it will not now be too long until season 2 is ready to go, we've become much busier since the pandemic has, well not ended, but at least become significantly less bad, and so we've decided to work to an entirely different release schedule - we'll be releasing a few episodes at a time weekly and calling that a season, rather than trying to keep to one every fortnight. Obviously that means there will be longer gaps in between seasons, but it will also mean that we actually have the time to do it!

Episode 12 - The disappearance of Richey Edwards

2h 20m · Published 13 Jun 10:00

**TRIGGER WARNING** This episode contains discussions of mental health, self-harm and suicide. If you are struggling, please visit Mind who have tons of help with mental health. Please also visit Missing People to learn more about searching for people who have disappeared.

In 1995, the Manic Street Preachers were planning to embark on a tour of the USA to promote their critically acclaimed and unrelentingly bleak third album, the Holy Bible. As lead singer James Dean Bradfield prepared to fly to America to do a press tour, the band's lyricist and rhythm guitarist, Richey Edwards, checked out of their hotel to never be seen by the band or his family again.

What happened to Richey, and what led to a moment that has ascended into the folklore of rock and roll? In this bumper season finale, Matt and AJ are joined by Manics aficionado Shelli Le Fay to discuss the rock star's disappearance.
