"In this way, they will take hold of the life that is truly life!" Sounds good doesn't it? So, what is this way that leads to life that is truly life? Today's message reveals it is the way of generosity. Our God is so ridiculously generous! And one of the signs that Jesus is really living in us is that He sets us free to be generous too, with great joy and impact.

There is no person who has achieved greatness in any field that didn't experience some sort of sacrifice and suffering to get there. The same is true when it comes to our spiritual lives. Jesus experienced a suffering on earth that brought Him both personal victory and victory for others. As we continue our series "Got To Get You Into My Life," we'll look at what it means to share in Christ's suffering so we can see His glory in our lives and in the lives of others.

Joining Jesus in what matters to Him always ends up being the best thing for our own heart and a great way to bless everyone around us. Sadly, most of us settle for distance in relationship with God, rather than close, genuine relationship that He offers. So how do we bridge the gap between where we are and what He offers to us. The nation of Israel had the same experience and their story in Genesis 20:18-21 offers us a way forward.

We all seek the best position possible, whether that was first string in sports, or first chair in music or the next rung up on the corporate ladder. So when Jesus offers us the top position in His kingdom, what's it look like? He says we'll be the servant of all. Really? Not sure I'm interested in that. But He knows what He's talking about and in this message we'll dive in to find out what's so great about being a servant and how it's key to the full life Jesus offers us.

The essence of every human being is our identity. Who do we believe we really are at our core? This is critical, because what we believe about ourselves will drive everything we do! There is no more important area to let God into than our identity. He has created us and only He knows who we truly are. When we discover our identity in Him, our lives become everything they were created to be!
