Sid Sackson's seminal game, Acquire, has made many lists of top games. It has been mentioned in almost every book on board gaming that I have read. I finally found the copy I was looking for, and then I finally played it. Was it worth the hype? Give this episode a listen.

In this episode, I talk with Phill Wamser. We met while running a booth together at Geekway to the West, the local board game convention in St. Louis. We decided to do the interview at Geekway one evening to get the ambient sounds of the convention. Phill is a game designer and youth pastor that uses games to help get the teenagers at his church to interact with each other in person, not just over the phone. Another patron of Geekway, and friend of the show, accidentally podcast-bombs the episode. It is hilarious! It is all a risk when recording at a convention.

Norm Hastings really loves older games. He found that there was no content for these older games. So, Norm fixed that problem by creating his own YouTube Channel, Board Game Museum. He has close to 300 vintage game reviews. I have watched too many already, as each one makes me want to locate and purchase the game he reviewed. He joins me on this episode to talk about what game he still pines to find, whether Officer Jones from Monopoly is a punk, and more. He might have even convinced me to start a channel reviewing Clue and its variations.
